Countdown time is here – and few more updates! Friday, Jun 22 2012

As of yesterday, June 21st, we are a month to go before our wonderful event happens again for Hammond Castle Museum.  We just got the green light from the City of Gloucester on June 19th, so there were a few minor delays, but we’ve done our best to straighten things out!

We have a few more vendors coming in:

Poetic Earth Journals – http://www.poeticearth.com  NEW – they make beautiful hand made leather journals and bags.

Lady Lethal Chain Mail – http://www.ladylethalchainmail.com/ – chain mail

Diamonds and Dinosaurs – gems and rocks and jewelry

NOT CONFIRMED YET, but we believe are coming:

Cucina Aurora http://dawnthekitchenwitch.com/ yummy oils and dips – possible sandwiches

Lady Feyline’s Fantastical Faces – face painting

All in all 18 vendors 😀  The Map of where all the vendors are located  is up as well on our website which you can find here: http://www.abbadiamarefestival.com/map.html

We’re getting ready for the countdown and we hope to see you there – we will post one more time before this amazing event goes on.

Mehndi Spirit – Beautiful Henna Sunday, May 22 2011

Mehndi is the Hindi word describing the process of painting patterns on the body with Henna paste.  Mehndi Spirit is owned and operated by Meghan Girouard who has been doing Henna for over 10 years.  http://mehndispirit.webs.com/ has much more information on it about what she does and has a gallery of some of her work.

Mehndi Spirit also has a wonderful friendly vibe that once you sit down at her tent, you forget that you are getting henna on your arm, feet or hands (or she’ll do some parts of your body too, but in places people can see ;)).

She also has a facebook fan page at http://www.facebook.com/#!/pages/Mehndi-Spirit/312375304899 so if you are on Facebook, do check it out!

We are excited to have Mehdi Spirit at Abbadia Mare Festival which is coming up in a few short months!
